In the age of the smartphones, the possibility to learn the language has also arisen. In 2015, the language learning app „Duolingo“ offered an Esperanto course for English-speaking people for the first time, which has now been taken up by 700,000 users.


As can be seen, in the idea of a common universal language has already been going strong for 130 years. The prospects for the language are looking good. The number of so-called “Esperantos” continues to increase.
