Labour Day

International Workers‘ Day, also known as Labour Day, Workers‘ Day or May Day, is a celebration of labourers and the working classes that is promoted by the international labour movement.

The first of May is a national public holiday in many countries across the world (e.g. Germany, Liechtenstein, Austria, Belgium, parts of Switzerland, China, etc.). This day is also a day where many demonstrations take place.

Some countries celebrate Labour Day on other dates more significant to them. The United States, for example, celebrates Labour Day on the first Monday of September.

For everyone celebrating Labour Day on May 1st, we wish you a peaceful Holiday.
